Services Rendered - unexpected surprises

Since moving to Carrollton, GA in 2001, I completely renovated our own historic commercial building as seen in the portfolio pictures. The building has housed a variety of storefront businesses over the past 100 years. The first floor now consists of Tom Nielsen Fine Art, which is an art studio/gallery for my husband, Tom. I share the downstairs space with my shop and studio. Our loft apartment now occupies the second floor which makes our commute about one minute long!

A few of my design projects include: design concepts for another downtown loft in an historic building, Miller's Restaurant, Mia Bella's Italian Restaurant here in Carrollton; eleven new buildings for First Georgia Banking Company; the security/welcome center for the Southwire Company and numerous residential interiors. Design recommendations include both interior and exterior appearance and coordination.

We offer a variety of services which include floor coverings such as wood, tile, cork, and Amtico International Vinyls. If your needs consist of window treatments, we can help you with plantation shutters, blinds - wood, woven and faux. Your changes may just include adding panels, draperies or Roman shades. If you need help with fabric, we have beautiful fabric choices here at the shop as well as many Atlanta sources. You may have existing furniture that just needs a lift ... I use only the best upholsterers. It may be the case that you really need a change with new furniture and lighting. Let me help direct you in finding pieces that are unique, that will reflect you and please you for years to come. Sometimes new paint can provide the very change you are looking for! It is difficult to determine what paint is the perfect choice for you. I can offer you a paint plan for just a room or your entire home or business that you can act upon in your own time frame or we can provide excellent painters and get the job done immediately.
